Chinese robotics firm AGIBOT arrived at WAIC 2026 with a full lineup rather than a single showpiece. On July 18, at booth H3-C101 in Shanghai, it unveiled four new products spanning humanoids, education, heavy industry and dexterous manipulation.

The flagship humanoid

The star is the A3 Ultra, a full-size humanoid standing 1.74 m and weighing 60 kg, with 51 active degrees of freedom, a 5 kg payload per arm and up to 8 hours of runtime. WAIC named it a "Gem of the Exhibition," a nod to its billing as a robot built for sustained real-world work, not stage demos.

Education and industry

The X2 EDU is an education and research humanoid platform — about 1.3 m tall with 29 degrees of freedom (seven per arm) — aimed at universities and labs. The Genie G2 Max, co-developed with JD Logistics, targets heavy industry: 18 kg single-arm, 38 kg dual-arm and 50 kg peak payload for warehouse and manufacturing tasks.

The hand

Rounding out the set is the OmniHand 3 Ultra-M, a direct-drive dexterous hand with 20 active degrees of freedom in just 630 g, a 5 kg grip load and ±0.2 mm repeatability, combining fingertip vision-tactile sensing with a palm tactile array. Dexterity remains one of humanoid robotics' hardest unsolved problems, and the hand is where AGIBOT is concentrating its precision claims.

The theme

CTO and co-founder Peng Zhihui framed the launch around reliable manufacturing and delivery rather than flashy one-off capabilities — a deliberate signal as China's crowded humanoid sector shifts from viral demos toward products that can actually be shipped and deployed at scale.
