What the listing actually says
Qwen describes the model only as a multimodal MoE model built on the next-generation Qwen4 architecture. The Chinese text frames it as an architecture preview — something published so that inference runtimes can prepare for a Qwen4 family that is 即将推出, forthcoming. The planned artifacts are the base weights plus an FP8 quantisation.
What the common framing gets wrong
Coverage across the past day has settled on a specific spec sheet: 125 billion total parameters, 51 billion N-gram parameters, 6 billion active, and a new sparse-attention scheme. Read the official object field by field and none of it is there. There is no parameter count. There is no benchmark table. The License field is empty — which for an "open-weights" release is the single most consequential blank on the page. Those figures trace to a model card that was published and then deleted, and to a third-party social account. The self-contradiction is visible in the coverage itself: at least one widely syndicated flash gives both 60B and 6B active parameters in the same page — a factor of ten — and concedes the numbers are unconfirmed.
Why a deleted draft card is not a source
Pre-release listings on model hubs are routinely edited: teams stage a card, revise the architecture description, and republish. A card that existed for a few hours and was withdrawn is a draft, not a disclosure.
